Naturally restore a healthy body and mind
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness based on the Naturopathic Philosophy including the principle that the body has it's own inherent ability to heal itself. Using these principles together with gentle therapeutic techniques such as nutrition & dietary adjustments your Naturopath at the Wellness Centre will help you to naturally restore a healthy body and mind. Other naturopathic options may include the use of herbal and/or homeopathic medicines, lifestyle changes or referral to other holistically minded practitioners including medical if indicated.
Each person is seen as an individual and therefore the whole person is treated, not just the symptoms or affected area. Initial consultations may include a comprehensive case history, naturopathic diagnostic techniques e.g. iridology (iris diagnosis), tongue diagnosis and more.
Naturopathy encompasses a variety of treatment methods including:
- Herbal Medicine to help prevent and treat various illnesses
- Dietary and Nutritional advice for help in restoration of balance, detoxification and prevention of disease
- Clinical nutrition for vitamin and mineral imbalances
- Weight management programs
- Pregnancy & Peri-natal Health & support
- Lifestyle Health Coaching
Naturopathy can be useful for a wide range of conditions and is suitable for the young and old.. Some of the more common symptoms treated include digestive problems, tiredness, stress related problems, sleeping problems, women's health issues, inflammation and pain and much more. Naturopathic treatments can help boost the body's innate healing potential thus restoring harmony and helping prevent disease.
