When money is tight, self-care can quickly start to feel optional. Classes, massage, meditation, treatments and personal support may be placed in the “maybe later” category.
Yet periods of financial pressure often bring more stress, poorer sleep, physical tension, worry and fatigue. These are the times when having somewhere to move, rest, receive support or pause can make a meaningful difference.
Looking after yourself does not need to mean committing to everything. It may mean attending one class a week, booking a massage when your body needs it, joining a short course, trying a meditation session or speaking with an experienced practitioner.
We’ve created flexible ways to access the Centre:
Start small — choose an introductory offer, a casual class, a single appointment, a workshop or a short course.
Choose what supports you now — from Pilates, yoga and meditation to massage, beauty, complementary therapies and individual wellbeing services.
Stay flexible — attend casually, book services as needed or choose a membership when regular attendance offers the best value.
Talk with us when circumstances change — where possible, we can help pause or adjust a membership rather than have you step away from something that is helping.

Yoga here is less about achieving a posture and more about listening … to what the body is carrying, to where breath catches, to the stillness beneath movement. All levels welcome
Reformer and Mat classes that rebuild core strength, balance and posture without punishing you. Small classes, real spotting, and dedicated 45+ sessions where the pace respects what your body’s been through. Low-impact doesn’t mean low results..
Most of us live almost entirely in our heads. Meditation is simply the practice of noticing there’s more to you than that … and that the quieter part of you is surprisingly steady. Guided sessions for all levels, including iRest Yoga Nidra meditation.
Pregnancy changes the job description weekly. These classes keep you strong and mobile through it, then help you rebuild after — pelvic floor, posture, and an hour where nobody needs anything from you. Bubs welcome at postnatal sessions.
One instructor, one agenda: yours. Ideal if you’re returning from injury, nervous about group classes, or want your technique properly pulled apart and rebuilt. Book a single session or a short block.
Remedial and relaxation massage by qualified therapists who ask where it hurts and then actually work there. Book 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Health-fund rebates may apply.
The body is more than its physical structure. Reiki and Pranic Healing work with the subtle dimensions of who you are — the energy patterns that can carry tension, old emotion, and unprocessed experience. Many people are surprised by the depth of stillness these sessions invite.
Sometimes the thing blocking forward movement isn’t a lack of information … it’s an unconscious pattern that keeps repeating. EFT (tapping) and wellness coaching work gently with those deeper layers, helping them release rather than fight them. The result is often less effort, not more.

Elizabeth, Debbie, Kachina, Hengameh, Anne, Phoenix and Ariane have been teaching here for a combined 30 years. Between them: two fitness professional backgrounds, 2 Pilates teachers in Reformer & Mat. 3 yoga teachers, one Ph.D., 3 therapists and 2 certified iRest teachers trained under Richard Miller’s programme. You’ll be looked after by someone who knows your name by week two.
Classes cap at 15. Reformer classes at 7 — one person per machine, always. If your form’s off, someone will notice and quietly fix it. That’s the difference between a class and a room full of strangers copying each other.
We’re one of the few Wollongong studios with dedicated Reformer 45+ classes and pre/postnatal Pilates on the weekly timetable — not as an occasional workshop. Everyone’s welcome here; these classes just make sure nobody gets left behind by a generic pace.
Open since 2011, AUSactive registered, and still owner-run. Some of our Wednesday Restorative Yoga regulars have been coming since the year we opened. No lock-in contracts, because we’d rather you stay because it works.
