Weekend Wellness Retreat

We are very excited to be running this years retreat in the spiritual Centre of St Peter Canisius House in Pymble Sydney.  Set in an estate with 5 acres of beautiful gardens and walking tracks this peaceful retreat Centre is perfect for getting away from it all and giving yourself time out from your daily routine to spend time with like minded people and immerse yourself in rest and growth.

Each day we will offer classes based around the themes of detoxification and balance.     These classes include yoga techniques including Yin Yoga, breathing techniques and postures, Pilates and meditation and relaxation.  Our guest leader will introduce us to yoga's sister science,  Ayurveda which brings balance to mind and body.  and everyone gets a herbal detox body scrub!

 Add all that together gorgeous extensive gardens and  delicious food and you have an amazing weekend away.

Retreat Itinerary

Below is a guide to the itinerary for the weekend.  It is just a guide because if we can make it better we will change it. :)

Friday Evening

Arrivals from 3pm -   meet everyone and settle into your room. Take a walk around the grounds before dinner at 6.30pm  

7.45-9pm Restorative yoga and yoga Nidra relaxation to settle in and let go.

Saturday

6.45     Pilates/Yoga

8am     Breakfast

9.30 - 10.45am   Talk/Workshop - Detox/Liver Function   (To be confirmed)

11am morning tea

11.30 - 1pm Yoga for detoxification

1pm lunch

2-4pm Free time / walking meditation around the beautiful gardens and grounds

4pm Afternoon tea (yummy healthy cake)

4.30 - 5.30   Talk/Workshop - Do it yourself detox body scrub

6.30 Sumptuous Dinner

7.45 - 8.45pm  Yin yoga and meditation

Fire Circle depending on weather

Sunday

7 - 8.30am  Yoga + the 8 limbs of yoga - rules for a happy life

8.30am  breakfast

9.30 - 10.45   Ayurvedic workshop

10.45am Morning tea

11.30 - 12.30pm   Pilates/yoga

1pm Lunch

2 - 2.30pm  Relaxation singing bowls meditation
