Join us for a journey of enchanting musical meditation. Kirtan is an ancient call and response meditative chant accompanied by Indian  musical instruments.  A unique,  joyful uplifting experience open to all

The Govinda Valley Kirtan band came together in an attempt to express and share the wonderful experiences of the healing the mantras evoke. Kirtan is group singing/chanting known as mantra sound meditation. It is a call and response singing, which means everyone is welcome to join in. Chanting of mantras is very healing, calming, and uplifting for the consciousness.

Paul Best has been playing Sitar over four decades, with many styles of music and numerous recordings of his original compositions, solo and collaborations. Kirtan Music is one of his favourite with it's meditative feeling and beautiful melodies.
