United Nations International Yoga Day 21st June Celebration Week

June 21 was declared the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly on the 11th December , 2014. To help celebrate this Worldwide event the  Wellness Centre is offering 1 week of Classes beginning on Sunday 21st June.

The current Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014 stated "Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day."

For a registration Fee of only $10 (Donation to Nepal Earthquake Fund)  Wollongong people can celebrate and join in on up to 16 classes including a yoga movie  ticket. It is easy to book your space in each class to secure your spot. Places in the classes will be given priorty to those that book in Online, via the app or by phone.
