Beginners Introductory Pilates Workshop

Join others new to Pilates in learning how to lengthen tight muscles, tighten loose muscles and improve how your body feels and moves.
This dedicated beginners 2 hour workshop includes a basic Pilates workout with clear descriptions and instructions to get you started. You will receive tips, techniques & strategies for use in Pilates Matwork classes from qualified experienced teachers. Suitable for beginners, improvers and people with limitations or recovering from injury, back pain, arthritis etc.
Learn about the Pilates method including:
- Correct breathing
- Checking your posture & alignment
- Enhance body awareness
- Learn & practice basic Pilates mat exercises
- Pilates based stretching & strengthening exercises
Just bring yourself with loose comfortable clothing. Workshop places are Limited, so please register early to reserve a spot! Please arrive at least 10 minutes before Workshop begins.

This course is not recommended if you have any of thefollowing injuries
- Current Acute Pain
- Current Acute Disc Bulge
- Current Acute Sciatica
- Current Acute Herniated Disc
- Back Surgery, and Back surgery with Fusion.
Note, the above injuries, once the acute phase has passed, can be helped by doing regular Pilates. You may require a one to one consultation prior to doing this Pilates short course.
