Massage has a healing power which works on three levels: physical, psychological and emotional.  It improves blood circulation, can ease tight muscles & tendons and relieves aches and pains.  By working on the lymphatic system, therapeutic massage can facilitate the elimination of waste from the body. The Wellness Centre offers a wide range of therapeutic & remedial massage by trained and skilled therapists. AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE - From $45

Is the use of essential oils as medicines.  Essential oils are highly concentrated plant essences - droplets of liquid which have the power to relax, stimulate and offer therapeutic value by aiding in balancing the nerve supply, improving blood and lymph circulation.

It is particularly useful for pain, imbalanced emotional and physical states, as well as being a wonderful way of indulging in the overall sensation of total relaxation and wellbeing. 

SHIATSU- From $75

Traditionally takes place on  a mat on the floor, with the patient dressed in loose comfortable clothing.  It uses fingers, thumbs, palm and elbow pressure techniques applied to acupressure points to relieve stress, tension and emotional trauma.

Shiatsu emphasises correction and maintenance of bone structure, joints & tendons, muscles  and meridian lines whose malfunctioning distorts the bodies energy and autonomic nervous system contributing to disease.    

REMEDIAL  THERAPY - From $45

Uses massage and other specialised soft tissue techniques to achieve simple relaxation through to overall health and wellbeing.  Therapists practice reflexology (trigger points to the feet), muscles energy  techniques, exercise therapy, polarity therapy  and oriental massage, with specific treatments available for injuries and back pain.

REFLEXOLOGY FOOT MASSAGE- From $40

Uses thumbs and fingers on reflex points corresponding to all areas of the body. Treatment promotes positive mood alterations. Stress symptoms such as insomnia, hypertension, muscle tension, anxiety, agitation and physical pain have been alleviated.  Overall feelings of wellbeing have been increased.

BOWEN TECHNIQUE - $75

A non-invasive form of bodywork involves specific moves across tendons& muscles using thumbs and fingers. This "triggers" the muscle,creating energy serge's which are released upon the patient whenstanding. Conditions known to have responded well to this treatmentinclude: frozen shoulders, tennis elbow, RSI, general skeletaldysfunction.
