Gelsemium Sempervirens

Gelsemium has traditionally been used for the symptomatic relief of flu with aches and pains when feeling droopy, drowsy, heavy and listless. It may also be helpful for symptoms related to anticipatory fear, nervous anxiety, stage fright and exam nerves, especially those who are always apprehensive of losing control. Fear that may result in shuddering, debility, diarrhea including an urge for frequent urination may indicate Gelsemium as a remedy.

There have been occasions in the past when this homeopathic remedy has been given to soldiers to reinforce their nerve on the battlefields.

Not all of the symptoms need to be present for the remedy to be useful.
