Fitness Training for Beginners in Wollongong
The specially designed Beginners Fitness offer you a well-rounded fitness exercise regimen with the added benefit of being conveniently located indoors at the Wellness Centre Wollongong rain, hail or shine
The these classes are designed for people who are stepping back into exercise after a time away. It provides a person with a gradual progression of intensity from week to week to lift their fitness to the next level. Working in a group of like-minded people, you will be challenged in a supportive environment to learn the basics of a fitness regimen that you can take away with you and build upon for life - a healthier, more energetic life.
You will get acquainted (or re-acquainted) with time-honoured exercises like push ups and squats as well as fun activities like shuttles and boxing.
Be progressively challenged to do more and push your boundaries.
These classes are also designed to promote fat burning, improved cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength. Regular attendance to these sessions will allow you to feel & see the the changes without commitment to long term contracts
Classes will include boxing components combined with high-intensity calisthenic workouts to keep your heart & metabolic rates elevated. These high repetition bodyweight exercises provide a time and equipment-efficient workout.
The energy in these classes will come from a focused work ethic and a well-designed class structure, not driven by yelling or loud music. Boxing and interval-based calisthenics workouts offer challenging and engaging exercises which draw you in and help you get out more than you put in e.g. continued fat burning post-class, cardiovascular development and relative strength improvements. Balanced with your other mindful movement based classes you will be able to focus on your health and fitness and be prepared for the challenges that life poses.
These classes give you the opportunity to keep your metabolic rate elevated while still enjoying other classes at the Wellness Centre including Pilates, Yoga, Barre & Ballet classes. Early morning workouts are a great starting point that allows you to get your day / week started well psychologically as well as metabolically.
